The Hololens is a Head Mounted Display (HMD) that sends 3d visuals to the viewer's eye using holographic projections. These projections are overlayed on top of real-world objects, giving the user a sense of immersion a Mixed Reality setup.
The hololens is sold by Microsoft and has its sights on changing industries and education. It can bring visualizations and real-world data to provide context to real-world items and scale.
